More Fall

Last weekend we visited an apple farm up in the mountains. There weren't any apples left to pick, but we found a couple little ones for Alexis to pick since she had her heart set on picking apples. Also at the farm was a barn with a gift shop, bluegrass band, and bbq that smelled delicious. Next time we go, we won't bring our own lunch along. We did get some cider, though.

Fall Time

Here are a few shots from our trip to San Diego 2 weekends ago. Alexis and Meredith were invited to a tea party at Meredith's Grandma Rohrer's house. As you can see, it was quite the frilly occasion and all the girls loved it.

Home Again

Alexis and I spent 3 weeks in Greenville while Mark was in Manila, then he caught up with us in PA. We've been gone 5 weeks and are finally back home. To see the pictures from our trip, go here.

Wedding Pics

Our neighbors and good friends, Drew and Erin, got married yesterday. Everything was beautiful, but how could it not be, with a location like Laguna Beach? We had a great time and enjoyed being included in the preparations and the wedding music. I have plenty of photos, but here are just a few:

Pool Time

This past week it was finally hot enough to swim. I was excited to see how Alexis would do in the water this year, and I haven't been disappointed. She LOVES the pool and asks to go every day, if not multiple times a day. She's not afraid to venture out on her own in the water or to jump off the steps by herself (this is uncharacteristically bold on her part). Here are a couple photos and a video:

I'm an Aunt Again!

Happy Birthday to Eva Corinne Higgs. She was born this morning at 5:48 AM, weighing in at 8 lbs, 1 oz, and is 20 inches long. Also, Happy 4th Anniversary to her parents!

Here are a few snippets of Alexis displaying her typical odd behavior (yes, I just used "typical" and "odd" in the same sentence). Odd because sometimes she's just plain weird, and typical because odd is how toddlers are.
